We have just held the inaugural meeting of INARTRANS, a new initiative to promote the use of artificial intelligence in the transport infrastructure sector.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of this project is to accelerate <strong>digital transformation<\/strong> and increase competitiveness in the construction sector. This boost will be applied throughout the infrastructure value chain: <strong>construction, operation and maintenance<\/strong>, with a strong component related to<strong> information systems and data governance.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The project is funded by the Science and Innovation <strong>Missions programme of the Centre for Technological Development and Innovation<\/strong> and the grants for R&amp;D projects in strategic lines of collaboration between research organisations and knowledge dissemination awarded by the <strong>National Research Agency (AEI),<\/strong> as part of the <strong>TRANSMISSIONS<\/strong> initiative in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative, promoted by the <strong>Spanish Construction Technology Platform (PTEC)<\/strong> as an innovation ecosystem, has become a reality thanks to the collaboration of several private companies, technology centres and universities:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; <strong>CDTI Cluster:<\/strong> Acciona Construcci\u00f3n (project and CDTI cluster coordinator), Grupo Azvi, Indra Sistemas, JIG Internet Consulting, MainRail and Virtualmech.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; <strong>AEI Cluster:<\/strong> Centro Tecnol\u00f3gico de la Construcci\u00f3n de la Regi\u00f3n de Murcia (CTCON), coordinator of the AEI cluster, Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico de Rocas Ornamentales y Materiales de Construcci\u00f3n de Extremadura (INTROMAC), Tekniker, The University of Alcal\u00e1 and the Polit\u00e9cnica de Madrid University.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Photos: Azvi<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]At Grupo Azvi, we remain committed to innovation.
