extension and remodelling of<strong> Chamart\u00edn station in Madrid<\/strong> continues to progress with the arrival of the train operated by <strong>Traccion Rail,<\/strong> which transported 22 270m-long and 60kg\/mbars, totalling almost 6km and 360t.<\/p>\n<p>The material, which was unloaded over three night shifts to minimise the impact on station operations, will be used for the installation of<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>4 new high-speed tracks<\/strong> (from number 22 to 25).<\/li>\n<li><strong>1 stabling track<\/strong> (number 26).<\/li>\n<li>All the <strong>junctions associated<\/strong> with the points.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The work at Chamart\u00edn also includes the construction of<strong> two new platforms<\/strong> (14 and 15), with their subways, and the development of the surrounding area.<\/p>\n<p>The works are scheduled for commissioning in June 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The project is being carried out in partnership with <strong>COMSA, V\u00cdAS <\/strong>and <strong>Grupo San Jos\u00e9.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We continue to make progress in transforming this <strong>strategic transport hub<\/strong> in Madrid into a world benchmark for
