The Azvi and Licuas team, MadridCentro, carried out a delicate and complex operation to move the 10-tonne, 5.80-metre-high sculpture 18 metres from its previous location.<\/p>\n
The historic sculpture was separated from its pedestal using diamond wire, and its integrity and safety were ensured throughout the manoeuvre by placing a prestressed wooden reinforcement and installing a metal cage to protect it. The entire process was designed specifically for La Mariblanca.<\/p>\n
With this action, we are entering the final stage of the remodelling of this emblematic Madrid enclave, committed to the city and forming part of its transformation.<\/p>\n
