{"id":15352,"date":"2022-07-25T09:21:10","date_gmt":"2022-07-25T07:21:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/grupoazvinews.com\/azvi-concluye-con-exito-las-voladuras-para-la-ampliacion-del-antiguo-tunel-de-ulriken-en-noruega\/"},"modified":"2025-11-04T12:17:43","modified_gmt":"2025-11-04T10:17:43","slug":"azvi-successfully-completes-blasting-works-for-the-expansion-of-the-old-ulriken-tunnel-in-norway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/grupoazvinews.com\/en\/azvi-successfully-completes-blasting-works-for-the-expansion-of-the-old-ulriken-tunnel-in-norway\/","title":{"rendered":"Azvi successfully completes blasting works for the expansion of the old Ulriken tunnel in Norway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"129\" data-end=\"454\">A new milestone for our team in Norway. <strong data-start=\"169\" data-end=\"183\">Azvi Norge<\/strong> has carried out \u2014 without dismantling the track \u2014 more than <strong data-start=\"244\" data-end=\"271\">400 blasting operations<\/strong> required for the expansion of the old <strong data-start=\"310\" data-end=\"328\">Ulriken tunnel<\/strong>, which is <strong data-start=\"339\" data-end=\"354\">7.7 km long<\/strong>, marking one of the greatest challenges of this project that <strong data-start=\"416\" data-end=\"451\">Azvi is developing for Bane NOR<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"456\" data-end=\"503\">The main drilling and support works included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"506\" data-end=\"545\"><strong data-start=\"506\" data-end=\"522\">46,183.18 m\u00b3<\/strong> of blasted material.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"548\" data-end=\"603\"><strong data-start=\"548\" data-end=\"564\">46,578.32 m\u00b3<\/strong> of material transported to landfill.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"606\" data-end=\"690\"><strong data-start=\"606\" data-end=\"629\">8,820 support bolts<\/strong> (between \u00d820 mm and \u00d832 mm \/ lengths between 3 m and 6 m).<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"693\" data-end=\"777\"><strong data-start=\"693\" data-end=\"708\">6,260.50 m\u00b3<\/strong> of shotcrete <strong data-start=\"722\" data-end=\"733\">B35 M45<\/strong> reinforced with <strong data-start=\"750\" data-end=\"774\">E700 or E1000 fibers<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"779\" data-end=\"1006\">The rehabilitation project involves <strong data-start=\"815\" data-end=\"846\">widening the tunnel section<\/strong> at various points. To carry this out, approximately <strong data-start=\"899\" data-end=\"920\">38,000 m\u00b3 of rock<\/strong> must be excavated, with blasting performed along <strong data-start=\"970\" data-end=\"1003\">6.2 km of the central section<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1008\" data-end=\"1263\">The project also includes <strong data-start=\"1034\" data-end=\"1055\">new waterproofing<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1057\" data-end=\"1101\">installation of several service conduits<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"1107\" data-end=\"1156\">construction of the Bergen-side tunnel portal<\/strong> in reinforced concrete, as well as <strong data-start=\"1192\" data-end=\"1208\">a new bridge<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1213\" data-end=\"1236\">urban redevelopment<\/strong> of the surrounding area.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1265\" data-end=\"1360\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The original tunnel was built in the <strong data-start=\"1302\" data-end=\"1311\">1960s<\/strong> and runs <strong data-start=\"1321\" data-end=\"1359\">parallel to the new Ulriken tunnel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Photo: Grupo Azvi<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] A new milestone for our team in Norway.
