On April 21, we celebrated a very special date: the 30th anniversary of Spain\u2019s first high-speed rail line<\/strong>.<\/p>\n That day in 1992 marked the start of commercial service<\/strong> of the first train connecting Madrid and Seville<\/strong>, a true milestone in Spanish railway history.<\/p>\n Since construction began in 1987, Azvi participated in three sections<\/strong>, covering a total of 160 kilometers<\/strong>, with an investment of \u20ac127.8 million<\/strong>. Three decades later, we can proudly say that Azvi has worked on more than 490 kilometers of high-speed rail<\/strong> across all the main lines that connect Spain.<\/p>\n To commemorate this anniversary, Azvi sponsored the SER Andaluc\u00eda Meeting: Three Decades of High-Speed Rail<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The event featured the participation of the President of the Andalusian Regional Government, Juan Manuel Moreno<\/strong>, the Minister of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, Raquel S\u00e1nchez<\/strong>, the Minister of Finance, Mar\u00eda Jes\u00fas Montero<\/strong>, the President of ADIF, Mar\u00eda Luisa Dom\u00ednguez<\/strong>, and the Mayors of Seville and C\u00f3rdoba, Antonio Mu\u00f1oz and Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Bellido<\/strong>, along with numerous representatives from the business, academic, cultural, and civil society sectors of Andalusia.<\/p>\n The ceremony aimed to highlight the progress achieved through the first AVE line<\/strong> and to promote the continued expansion of high-speed rail<\/strong> as a key driver for the modernization of Andalusia and the cohesion of Spain.<\/p>\n Photo: Cadena Ser<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" [vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] On April 21, we celebrated a very special date: the 30th anniversary of Spain\u2019s first high-speed rail line.
