{"id":16638,"date":"2024-08-12T13:55:16","date_gmt":"2024-08-12T12:55:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/grupoazvinews.com\/azvi-inicia-la-construccion-de-la-subestacion-electrica-en-el-tramo-2-de-la-prolongacion-sur-del-metro-de-granada\/"},"modified":"2024-09-18T10:00:34","modified_gmt":"2024-09-18T09:00:34","slug":"azvi-starts-works-granada-metro","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/grupoazvinews.com\/en\/azvi-starts-works-granada-metro\/","title":{"rendered":"Azvi starts works on the Granada Metro"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Azvi starts the construction of the <strong>electrical substation<\/strong> in the second section of the southern extension of the <strong>Granada underground<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The works have started with the execution of the <strong>pile screen<\/strong> for the earth containment and the <strong>excavation<\/strong> of the underground substation that will be located at the interchange.<\/p>\n<p>This substation will be constructed from reinforced concrete, on a single underground level with surface foundations, rectangular pillars and a solid reinforced concrete slab floor.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, work is underway on the area for the future<strong> park-and-ride car park<\/strong>, which will accommodate <strong>250 vehicles<\/strong>, as well as the removal of street furniture, demolition of the pavement and excavation for the metro platform and backfilling with selected soil in the most urbanized section of <strong>Las Gabias<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, <strong>Roc\u00edo D\u00edaz, Councillor for Development, Territorial Planning and Housing<\/strong>, visited the works in the area known as <strong>La Gloria<\/strong>, where the future interchange, the park-and-ride car park and one of the metro stops will be located.<\/p>\n<p>We continue to work to create <strong>sustainable mobility<\/strong> alternatives to improve the quality of life for citizens.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"fontSizeMedium\" style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Photos: Junta de Andaluc\u00eda &amp;
