{"id":16846,"date":"2024-03-25T10:42:40","date_gmt":"2024-03-25T09:42:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/grupoazvinews.com\/la-estacion-de-chamartin-avanza-en-su-transformacion\/"},"modified":"2025-05-21T13:53:57","modified_gmt":"2025-05-21T12:53:57","slug":"the-transformation-of-chamartin-station-continues","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/grupoazvinews.com\/en\/the-transformation-of-chamartin-station-continues\/","title":{"rendered":"The transformation of Chamart\u00edn station continues"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]At <strong>Azvi<\/strong>, we continue to work on the transformation of <strong>Chamart\u00edn station<\/strong> into a strategic mobility hub, increasing its capacity and rail connections.<\/p>\n<p>Upcoming commissioning to take place:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tracks 5 to 8 of the <strong>conventional network<\/strong> and platforms 4 and 5.<\/li>\n<li>Provisional lobby of the conventional network.<\/li>\n<li>High-speed lines 18 and 19 and platform 11.<\/li>\n<li>High-speed lines 20 and 21 in the northern head and platforms 13 and 14 in connection with the new lines (23 to 25) and the high-speed section.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our team is also making progress on the main <strong>high-speed<\/strong> lobby and authorities building, as well as structural reinforcements under the station and the extension of the underpasses associated with the four new high-speed lines in the north head.<\/p>\n<p>These works are part of the final phase of the project, which will enhance the station&#8217;s high-speed capacity. This will require the connection and electrification of the tracks, as well as the installation of track equipment and control, command and signalling (CCS) systems, without interrupting commercial
