[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Grupo Azvi has been honoured with the <\/span>Research, Innovation, Development, and Business Award in Andalusia<\/span><\/b> granted by the <\/span>Academy of Social Sciences and Environment of Andalusia<\/span><\/b>, in the <\/span>Internationalization<\/span><\/b> category.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The award, which recognizes our commitment to promoting the global presence of Andalusian companies, was presented to <\/span>Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Mart\u00ednez Benavente<\/span><\/b>, Managing Director of Azvi, by <\/span>Manuel de la Cruz de la Cruz<\/span><\/b>, Regional Director for Andalusia at <\/span>Banco Santander<\/span><\/b>, accompanied by <\/span>Antonio Pascual Acosta<\/span><\/b>, President of the Academy.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mart\u00ednez Benavente expressed his gratitude to the Academy for the recognition, highlighting the pride of receiving the award in <\/span>Seville<\/span><\/b>, the birthplace of <\/span>Grupo Azvi<\/span><\/b>, a company with more than <\/span>125 years of history<\/span><\/b>. He emphasized the value of this distinction as an acknowledgment of the company\u2019s international expansion and its ability to compete globally from Andalusia.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He also praised the <\/span>Autonomous Community of Andalusia<\/span><\/b> for its support of innovation, training, investment, and internationalization \u2014 key factors that have enabled the company to grow and earn trust both within Spain and in its international markets. Today, Grupo Azvi operates across <\/span>Europe and the Americas generating<\/span><\/b> over one billion euros<\/span><\/b> in revenue.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mart\u00ednez Benavente stressed that this award is a <\/span>collective achievement<\/span><\/b>, belonging to the company\u2019s team of professionals, to the families who support them, and to the clients whose trust made international expansion and business growth possible.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He noted that the company\u2019s internationalization has been a challenge that required <\/span>courage, humility, patience, and resilience<\/span><\/b>. Its growth has been built on listening, learning, and adapting \u2014 understanding that expanding beyond borders is not merely a business strategy, but a commitment to <\/span>innovation, diversity, and sustainability<\/span><\/b>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He went on to say that, <\/span>\u201cBeing the largest Andalusian company in our sector is not an end in itself, but a responsibility. It means being a benchmark, setting an example for others to follow; and, above all, it means demonstrating that business success can go hand in hand with job creation, regional wealth generation, and the international projection of our community and our country.\u201d<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He made it clear. \u00a0through the example of Grupo Azvi\u2019s trajectory, that it is possible to build <\/span>global projects from a local foundation<\/span><\/b>, to <\/span>compete internationally without losing one\u2019s roots<\/span><\/b>, and to <\/span>maintain a strong community identity<\/span><\/b> while fostering a global business vision. The key to success, he concluded, lies in <\/span>vision, perseverance, and above all, people<\/span><\/b> \u2014 the greatest asset of any company.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The ceremony was presided over by <\/span>Antonio Sanz<\/span><\/b>, Regional Minister of Presidency, Interior, Social Dialogue, and Administrative Simplification for the Government of Andalusia, and <\/span>Jorge Paradela<\/span><\/b>, Regional Minister of Industry, Energy, and Mines.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
