{"id":20971,"date":"2026-06-16T13:51:55","date_gmt":"2026-06-16T11:51:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/grupoazvinews.com\/azvi-participa-en-la-recuperacion-de-los-mosaicos-historicos-de-la-estacion-de-chamartin\/"},"modified":"2026-06-16T16:18:28","modified_gmt":"2026-06-16T14:18:28","slug":"azvi-participates-in-the-restoration-of-the-historic-mosaics-at-chamartin-station","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/grupoazvinews.com\/en\/azvi-participates-in-the-restoration-of-the-historic-mosaics-at-chamartin-station\/","title":{"rendered":"Azvi participates in the restoration of the historic mosaics at Chamart\u00edn Station"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<span data-contrast=\"auto\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.azvi.es\/\">Azvi<\/a><\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0has participated in the restoration and conservation of the mosaics created by the renowned Spanish painter and sculptor <strong>Jos\u00e9 Lucas<\/strong>, as part of the transformation works at <strong>Madrid Chamart\u00edn Station<\/strong>.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">These pieces, which\u00a0form\u00a0the artwork\u00a0<\/span><strong><i>The Mirror of an Infinite Journey<\/i><\/strong><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0(1989), have returned to the station following a complex process of dismantling, conservation and storage carried out during the\u00a0construction\u00a0works.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The intervention\u00a0required\u00a0the\u00a0numbering and dismantling\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0tiles\u00a0comprising\u00a0the 22 murals,\u00a0followed\u00a0by\u00a0their cleaning,\u00a0packaging\u00a0and specialised\u00a0storage to guarantee their preservation. Thanks to\u00a0this\u00a0project,\u00a013 of the murals have\u00a0now\u00a0been reinstalled in the renovated Chamart\u00edn Station, while the\u00a0remainder\u00a0are being held\u00a0by\u00a0<strong>ADIF<\/strong> for their future preservation.<\/span><span
