Grupo Azvi, through the Grupo Azvi Foundation, has signed a General Action Protocol with Seville City Council to promote projects aimed at preserving historical heritage, fostering cultural development and enhancing some of the city’s most emblematic landmarks.
The agreement, signed by the Mayor of Seville, José Luis Sanz, and Manuel Contreras Ramos, Chairman of the Grupo Azvi Foundation and Honorary Chairman of Grupo Azvi, establishes a solid framework for collaboration on initiatives related to heritage, research, artistic creation and the cultural promotion of Seville.
The first actions under the protocol include a research and restoration project for the Lope de Vega Theatre and the Casino de la Exposición, as well as work to establish the Royal Artillery Factory as one of Spain’s leading cultural centres. These initiatives form part of the preparations for the Centenary of the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929, a project of strategic importance for the future of Seville.
The protocol also reinforces Grupo Azvi’s longstanding commitment to the city in which it was founded more than a century ago, and to a Seville that looks outward to the world, strengthening public-private collaboration as a means of preserving its heritage, enriching its cultural offering and contributing to its national and international profile.
We remain committed to the development of Seville and to initiatives that help shape the future of our city.
