ADIF has awarded ur rail freight company Traccion Rail, together with its partner, Continental Rail, a new €5.65 million contract to provide track and infrastructure maintenance support on Spain’s General Interest Railway Network. for a period of 24 months.
The scope of the contract covers:
- Supply of locomotives with drivers for the transport of materials (rails, track equipment, sleepers, ballast, posts, etc.) and special trains (transport of rolling stock, rail trains, mobile substations, etc.).
- Track inspection and monitoring runs.
- Load testing on infrastructure (bridges and viaducts).
- Operation of Adif rolling stock and accompanying Adif material.
- Management of manoeuvres and operations in train composition.
- Operational planning.
This project consolidates Traccion Rail as a strategic operator in Spain’s railway sector, reaffirming our commitment to safety, efficiency and quality in railway operations.
