- Azvi welcomed the Spanish Minister of Transport, Raquel Sánchez, and the Andalusian Regional Minister for Development, Marifrán Carazo, among other authorities, to its stand at the Berlin fair.
After the hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the construction company of Grupo Azvi took part in InnoTrans — the world’s leading international trade fair for transport technology and railway mobility, held every two years in Berlin. This year’s edition brought together the sector under the theme “The Future of Mobility in Times of Climate Change.”
At the institutional level, the President of Grupo Azvi, Manuel Contreras Caro, welcomed to our stand — located in the MAFEX exhibition area — the Andalusian Regional Minister for Development, Marifrán Carazo Villalonga, and the Director of the Public Works Agency, Julio J. Caballero Sánchez, among other officials.
The Minister of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, Raquel Sánchez, also visited the stand, accompanied by the President of ADIF, María Luisa Domínguez, and the President of Renfe, Isaías Táboas. They held a meeting with representatives of Spanish railway companies, including Azvi’s CEO, Roberto Gallardo, and the Group’s Director of Communication and Corporate Reputation, Elena Crespo.
During InnoTrans, Azvi held a busy and productive schedule of meetings with national and international clients, partners, and suppliers, sharing the company’s extensive experience across the entire railway cycle — from infrastructure and superstructure to electrification, signaling, and maintenance.
In addition, Azvi presented the rest of Grupo Azvi’s railway-related companies: the concession firm Cointer, with its railway operation projects in Uruguay; Manfevias, certified as a Maintenance Entity (EEM) by the Spanish Railway Safety Agency and in charge of the Group’s railway maintenance workshop in Seville; and Traccion Rail and Ispalvia, dedicated respectively to freight transport and railway electrification and signaling works.
