Azvi has recently successfully passed the follow-up audit for the Certificate of Conformity of the Information Management System in BIM, confirming compliance with the requirements specified in the reference standards UNE-EN ISO 19650-1 and UNE-EN ISO 19650-2.
Azvi was one of the first companies in Spain to obtain Aenor’s certification for its BIM Information Management System based on the ISO 19650 standard (parts 1 and 2): “Organization and digitization of information in building and civil engineering works using Building Information Modelling (BIM)”. Both standards address information management when using BIM in the development of construction assets.
The certification qualifies Azvi as a Main Contractor in the areas of Building, Civil Works, and Industrial Projects, for the roles of Modeler and Coordinator, achieving the full scope defined by the standard.
The implementation and development of this methodology at Azvi — which enables collaborative project creation and management, centralizing all information and stakeholders throughout the asset’s life cycle — has been made possible thanks to the joint effort of the Estimating Department, the Technical Department, the South-East Delegation, and the Innovation and Digital Transformation Department.
The Aenor certification audit was based on projects of different types, both national and international, developed using BIM methodology and managed within Azvi’s internal collaborative environment.
