Cointer, Grupo Azvi’s concessionaire company, together with its partner SACYR Concesiones, has commenced management of Andrés Sabella Airport, a strategic infrastructure and one of Chile’s busiest airports.
- The project is part of the Northern Airport Network concession awarded by Chile’s Ministry of Public Works, which includes Antofagasta Airport and Desierto de Atacama Airport, which began operating in January 2025.
- The contract, for a maximum period of 26 years and an investment of nearly €260 million, will enable the modernization and expansion of the facilities, improving their capacity, efficiency and safety.
- More than 2.2 million passengers per year will benefit from upgraded infrastructure designed to support regional growth.
This milestone strengthens our presence in Chile and further consolidates Cointer as a leading operator in airport management across the country, where it currently also manages:
- President Carlos Ibáñez del Campo Airport.
- Balmaceda Aerodrome.

- Desierto de Atacama Airport – Caldera.
