Manuel Contreras Ramos, president of the Fundación Grupo Azvi, has received recognition for his social commitment from the Paz y Bien Association for his dedication to the creation and consolidation of the Fundación Grupo Azvi and his work on behalf of vulnerable children.
During an emotional ceremony, coinciding with International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Manuel Contreras Ramos expressed his gratitude for the award and his respect for the great work that Paz y Bien has been doing for more than forty years to promote the dignity of disabled people and children in need of protection.
The ceremony was attended by Fray Rafael Pozo Bascón, a Capuchin Franciscan priest and founder of Paz y Bien, who thanked the president of the Azvi Group Foundation for the commitment made to the protection and promotion of children through the CRECER Programme, which aims to provide psycho-pedagogical support to minors in residential centres as they prepare for independent living.
