Grupo Azvi Commits to Reforestation in Costa Rica

Within the framework of the “Huella del Futuro” initiative, and together with the Embassy of Spain in Costa Rica and the Government of the Republic of Costa Rica, Azvi Costa Rica has collaborated in the creation of the Spanish Corporate Forest at the Municipality of Upala.

The President of the Republic, Carlos Alvarado, was in charge of planting the first specimens of the 1,700 trees that will make up the Spanish Corporate Forest, accompanied by the First Vice President, Epsy Campbell, the Spanish Ambassador in Costa Rica, María Cristina Pérez, and representatives of the companies participating in the initiative.

For Grupo Azvi, as a signatory of the Global Compact, participating in initiatives of this kind forms part of its Environmental Performance, as a way to contribute to the achievement of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals; in this case, SDG 15.
