The president of the Fundación Grupo Azvi, Manuel Contreras Ramos, received the AFA Award for International Cooperation from the Vice-President of the Regional Government of Andalusia, Juan Marín. The Fundación Grupo Azvi was awarded this prize in 2020 for its work in support of children in need of protection in Chile and Mexico.
In 2020, the AFA Awards ceremony had to be suspended due to restrictions caused by the pandemic.
The AFA Awards, presented annually by the Andalusian Associations and Foundations, highlight the work of foundations and associations declared to be of public interest that contribute most significantly to the development of different sectors of society, so that their efforts are recognised not only by the third sector, but by society as a whole.
