El Sauce Bonded Warehouse, managed by Cointer, the Grupo Azvi concessionaire company, has officially launched its new Inspection Centre (CDI) in Los Andes, in Chile’s Valparaíso Region.
With an investment of €4.5 million, the new CDI features:
- 2 new multipurpose inspection bays
- 2 temperature-controlled bays
- 2,217 m² of constructed area, including 600 m² operating under temperature control
- A modern office centre for the SAG oversight agencies, Customs, and the Regional Health Ministry (Seremi de Salud)
This expansion will enable El Sauce to double its inspection capacity and incorporate various improvements to infrastructure such as sustainable lighting, safety signage, and new roadways that optimize the internal logistics flow.
The expansion responds to the growing volume of operations at El Sauce and complies fully with the latest requirements established by the different state agencies operating on-site.
With 17 years of experience and as a pioneer in implementing these standards, El Sauce is now firmly established as the only land-based Customs Bonded Warehouse (RDA) in Chile, reinforcing its commitment to regulation, efficiency, innovation, and the country’s logistics chain.
