The Intermodal Railway Terminal of Salamanca (Dry Port) has been awarded to Traccion Rail for its operation over a 25-year period, consolidating this infrastructure as a strategic node within the national and international logistics network.
The award includes a commitment to additional investment of around €5 million, aimed at increasing bulk storage capacity by 36,000 m³ to a total of 54,000 m³.
Management of the terminal will be structured through a new company based in Salamanca, open to investors who contribute to the development of traffic at the terminal.
Built by Azvi, this infrastructure will enable the centralisation of logistics operations, improve the competitiveness of the surrounding region and strengthen connections with the main European corridors, contributing to the economic and social development of Salamanca.
