Plaza de España and the Mayor of Seville, José Luis Sanz, hosted the event to present the participating entities of the Sevilla 2029 initiative.
This project, organised by ABC newspaper with the support of Seville City Council, aims to drive the transformation of the city by mobilising institutions, companies and society to become a true laboratory of ideas that will shape the next Great Seville, coinciding with the centenary of the 1929 Ibero-American Exhibition.
This initiative reinforces public-private collaboration as a driver of development and the role of companies in the economic, social and cultural projection of the city. Azvi was represented at the event by José María Martínez Benavente, the company’s General Manager.
Centred around six strategic lines of action with a dual purpose of communication and promotion, Sevilla 2029 is conceived as a space for reflection and collective action to build a more modern, sustainable and innovative city, while preserving its identity.
