Today we had the pleasure of welcoming Paloma García, Madrid City Council’s Delegate for Public Works and Facilities, and Carlos Segura, Councillor for the Centro District, during their visit to the renovation works at the Sabatini Gardens. They were accompanied by Ana Galán, Manager of the Madrid Centro Joint Venture (UTE).
Azvi, in partnership with Licuas, continues making progress in adapting and improving this historic space, with 70% of the drainage system already completed.
The works include:
- Repaving pathways and removing architectural barriers.
- Restoring historic features and ornamental fountains.
- Replacing lighting with energy-efficient technology.
- Improving landscaping with new trees and green areas.
- Refurbishing facilities for the horticultural service.
This work is subject to detailed archaeological control and supervision by the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage.
At Azvi, we remain committed to the conservation of urban heritage and the improvement of public spaces in our cities.
