After completing production of 345,000 sleepers in 9 months for Section 3 of the Maya Train, Construcciones Urales is manufacturing 300,000 more for Line K of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec Railway (FIT), breaking the daily production record by 1,535 units.
Our state-of-the-art automated factory has a carousel production capacity of up to 1,600 sleepers/day and is equipped with the following systems:
- Prestressing cast.
- Temperature-controlled steam curing chamber.
- Electrical system for assistance and control.
It also has a concrete plant with a capacity of 40 m3/hour, well above average (11.2 m3).
Construcciones Urales has designed and built the facilities, which expand across over 1,400 m2 and is responsible for its 24/7 operation, employing more than 70 workers from the region.
As a result, our commitment to innovation and efficiency is reinforced, contributing significantly to the development of railroads and sustainable mobility in Mexico.
