Our subsidiaries Construcciones Urales and Cupisa continue progressing in the civil works and installations for Santa Marta terminal. This project is a key point in the connection of the Iztapalapa – Chalco Trolleybus, linking Mexico City and the State of Mexico.
Work in progress:
- Civil works and urban development: pouring of sidewalks and curbs, installation of drainage systems, conduits and general lighting.
- Assembly of the final viaduct and station supports using LRB dampers.
- Electrical installation and wiring for station entrances and exits.
- Installation of catenary and electromechanical systems in the terminal.
This strategic project will improve urban mobility and strengthen sustainable transportation, reducing travel time for thousands of users from 2 hours to just 33 minutes. The 18-kilometer corridor, which includes 13 stations and 2 terminals, will benefit communities in municipalities such as Los Reyes, Valle de Chalco, Ixtapaluca and Chalco Centro.
Construcciones Urales and Cupisa continue to position themselves the forefront of the construction and infrastructure sectors, as well as in industrial facilities for urban transport.
Let’s continue building a more connected and efficient future for Mexico!
