Azvi, in partnership with Dragados and Martín Casillas, has started work on the diaphragm walls for the Seville Metro Line 3 tunnel. This marks an important milestone in the construction of the 1.5 km section between Los Mares and San Lázaro.
This work represents an important step forward in this initial phase of the project, enabling the construction of the load-bearing diaphragm walls that will support the the material covering the tunnel. The tunnel has been designed using the ‘cut and cover‘ technique to minimise the impact on this area of the city.
