Traccion Rail, Grupo Azvi’s rail freight transport company, continues to consolidate its growth, with year-end forecasts reflecting a positive trend in its main activity indicators.
Among the most noteworthy figures:
- +28% expected growth in turnover.
- 1.3 million km operated, 114% more than in 2024.
- +28% in net tonne-km hauled.
This growth has been driven by a number of factors including Traccion Rail’s participation in several joint ventures responsible for pre-commercial service runs and incident management on High-Speed Rail lines, as well as an increase in its rail freight activity.
The company also continues working towards the launch of the Salamanca Dry Port, carrying out intensive commercial activity to generate new freight flows in both Spain and Portugal, with the aim of beginning operations during the first four months of 2027.
These results and prospects reflect the growth in capacity and transport volumes managed by Traccion Rail and consolidate the company’s upward trajectory in the railway sector.
