This year ExpoRail has been held again in Mexico, the biggest fair of the railway sector that, in its 20th edition, takes place in CDMX, and in which Grupo Azvi has participated with Construcciones Urales and Cupisa.
We received the visit of Jorge Nuño Lara (Undersecretary of Infrastructure of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transport), Evaristo Iván Ángeles Zermeño, director of the Rail Transport Regulatory Agency (ARTF) and Oscar Del Cueto Cuevas, president of the Mexican Association of Railways (AMF). They were accompanied by Roberto Gallardo Fernández-Diez, CEO of Azvi, Jose Maria Martinez Benavente, Area Director for North America of Azvi and General Manager of Construcciones Urales, Alejandro Sánchez Castillo, Production Director of Construcciones Urales, and Julio José Cruz Moya, General Manager of Cupisa.
The event counted the participation of more than 500 specialists from 14 different countries. The trends, actions and challenges of a sector in which Construcciones Urales is an important player were analysed. The fundamental role of Construcciones Usales it is based on its participation in important railway projects in the country such as the Maya Train, the Ferrocarril del Istmo de Tehuantepec, S.A. de C.V. (FIT) or the Tren Interurbano México-Toluca. For its part, Cupisa stands out in the installation of electromechanical and technological systems.
