In line with its commitment to combatting climate change, Grupo Azvi has once again calculated the carbon footprint of its companies, achieving a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) of between 5.98% and 17.63% in 2023 across Azvi, Cointer and Traccion Rail.
These efforts have been recognised with the Reduzco distinction, awarded by Spain’s Ministry of Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 14064-1:2012 standard and Aenor verification.
In addition, the company successfully avoided the emission of 7,342 tonnes of CO2 equivalent (CO2e) into the atmosphere last year, a significant achievement that demonstrates the positive impact of the measures we are implementing in accordance with our Third Greenhouse Gas Reduction Plan (2023-2025).
