Azvi, together with OSSA and COTODISA, was part of the team of professionals involved in the construction of this new 2.7 km tunnel section, using a variety of techniques:
- 1,500 m using the New Austrian Tunnelling
- 650 m using the Belgian Method.
- 643 m of Diaphgragm Wall Tunnel.
In addition, a new station has been built at El Casar, which includes:
- A surface car park with 575 spaces.
- Charging points for electric vehicles .
- A direct pedestrian connection to MetroSur Line 12.
- Links to city and intercity bus services .
This new, strategic infrastructure for the south of Madrid, connects Villaverde Alto and El Casar to Puerta del Sol in under 30 minutes, benefiting more than a million people.
