Traccion Rail has received a grant under the Eco-Incentives Programme for rail freight transport, corresponding to the 2024 financial year and funded by NextGenerationEU funds, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR).
The grant, organised by the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, recognises projects that promote more efficient and sustainable rail freight transport, in line with environmental and socioeconomic criteria.
This support for the rail sector, which contributes to achieving the goals set out in the FREIGHT 2030 strategy, enables Traccion Rail to secure the logistics chain, strengthen rail freight transport services, promote an increase in rail’s modal share and contribute to more competitive and environmentally friendly mobility
