Committed to the railway sector and railway safety, Azvi has sponsored this important international forum organized by the International Railway Safety Council, where professionals from around the world gathered in Seville to share their experience and knowledge. The city was chosen as the venue to mark the 30th anniversary of the Madrid-Seville high-speed line, a project in which Azvi had the honor to participate.
With more than 300 participants, the International Railway Safety Conference was inaugurated with the presence of the Secretary of State for Transport, Isabel Pardo de Vera Posada; the President of ADIF, María Luisa Domínguez; the Executive Director of the European Union Agency for Railways, Josef Doppelbauer; and the Director of the Spanish Railway Safety Agency (AESF), Pedro M. Lekuona.
Historically linked to the development of railway infrastructures in Spain and in various countries across Europe and the Americas, Azvi has worked on the construction of over 490 kilometers of high-speed rail lines, more than 2,000 kilometers of conventional railway, and major suburban, metro, and tramway projects — as well as essential maintenance works to keep the railway network in optimal safety and operating conditions.
