Commissioning of the Alcorisa Bypass, built by Azvi

Today, the Alcorisa bypass, built by Azvi, has been opened to traffic: a 7 km section of new road on the N-211, which frees the Aragonese town from the passage of more than 3,300 vehicles per day, thus improving road safety, the quality of life of residents and connectivity in the area.

Key data:

  • 7 km long single carriageway with two-way traffic.
  • Three viaducts built on site, with continuous decks measuring 220, 180 and 160 m respectively.
  • Three overpasses.
  • Seven underpasses.
  • A total of 40,000 tonnes of asphalt were used.
  • Three 6-metre-high steel coffers were installed in honour of the route known as the Drum and Bass Drum Route of Teruel’s Holy Week celebrations.
