We are delighted that Construcciones Urales has completed the necessary tamping work on Section 3 of the Mayan Train, enabling the supervision tour planned for 1 September by Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador aboard a convoy to go ahead.
Thanks to the efforts and excellent work of our drivers, supported by the team of expert mechanics, this major milestone has been achieved, making it possible for trains to run on the 160 km of track 1 between Calkiní and Izamal.
We share with you a photo of the team that has put the finishing touches to these track works. Led by Miguel Ramírez Catena, Estaban Iker Téllez, Salvador Pavía Huerta, Rubén Cid, Iván Cruz, Aldo Arturo Iturbe Álvarez and Saúl Zavala.
This feat was only possible thanks to the commendable work and commitment of all the drivers and mechanics working on this iconic project: Sebastián Torres, Pedro Gallego, Félix Vázquez, Ángel Carmona, Fernando Rando, José Luis Redondo, Jesús Ruiz, Sebastián Correa, Kevin Hernández, Juan García, Jesús Bravo, José Luis Coronado, César Fontana, Miguel Fernández, Adonías Oliveira, Edney Inacio Da Silva, Samuel Toloza and Pablo López Ciudad.
