Today, let’s take a closer look at how Azvi‘s century-long experience is contributing to the development of railway infrastructures in Mexico.
Our subsidiary Construcciones Urales, in partnership with Grupo Indi and RECSA, is rehabilitating Line K of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec Railway (FIT), a 462 km section connecting Ixtepec in Oaxaca with Ciudad Hidalgo in Chiapas.
The project to upgrade this strategic rail infrastructure increases traffic speeds and improves regional connectivity. As a result, it will boost trade and attract new investment, reduce logistics costs and benefit thousands of users and key sectors such as industry, agriculture and tourism.
This project consolidates Grupo Azvi’s presence in Mexico and reaffirms its leadership in the railway sector.
