Humanitas Bilingual School El Cañaveral inaugurates two new buildings

Yesterday saw the inauguration of the school’s permanent Primary and Secondary education classrooms, constructed by Azvi, after an initial phase spent in temporary facilities.

Located in the new Madrid district of El Cañaveral, the school is managed by our concession company Cointer through its subsidiary HCE Humanitas Centros de Educación. It offers a broad education from ages 0 to 18, with state-funded places available from Early Childhood through, Primary and Compulsory Secondary Education, and an expected intake of more than 1,500 students per year.

In this phase, Blocks A and B were completed and delivered. Block A houses the dining halls —on the ground and first floors— along with the kitchen and the newly inaugurated classrooms. The Early Childhood Building had already been delivered in September 2025.

Block B, located in the central part of the building, houses the reception and administration areas, as well as spaces such as the library, music room and staff room. It also includes completed classrooms that will be brought into use progressively as the school grows.

Work also continues on Block C, which contains the sports hall, the swimming pool and the communal areas. It is due to be inaugurated in September, at the start of the next academic year.

Good luck in this new stage!
We continue building spaces for the future!
