The Interoceanic Train has successfully run test operations on Section 1 of Line K on the Isthmus of Tehuantepec Railway (FIT) in Mexico, following a comprehensive rehabilitation carried out by our subsidiary Construcciones Urales, in partnership with Grupo Indi and Recsa.
During the journey between Ixtepec and Tonalá, the following were assessed:
- Installation of over 175 km of track
- Rail structures and drainage systems
- Renovated stations
- Functionality of rolling stock
The oversight was handled by the Interoceanic Corridor of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, the FIT, and the Mexican Navy (SEMAR).
