The Plaza de Tirso de Molina redevelopment project, which Azvi is currently carrying out alongside Licuas through the Madrid Centro joint venture, recently received a visit from Paloma García Romero, Delegate for Public Works and Facilities at Madrid City Council, and Carlos Segura, Councillor for the city centre.
During the visit, the delegate was able to see firsthand the progress of this key project aimed at improving the urban space, accompanied by Manuel Contreras Caro, President of Grupo Azvi; Carlos Puebla, Azvi Civil Works Delegate; and Ana Galán, Manager of the Madrid Centro Joint Venture, along with executives from Licuas.
The project involves the comprehensive redevelopment of the square and its surrounding streets, with the goal of creating a more accessible, safer, and sustainable space that is better integrated into urban life. The works will remove architectural barriers, improve pedestrian flow, upgrade street furniture and children’s play areas, and introduce new green spaces and landscaping to enhance the environmental quality of the area.
At Grupo Azvi, we remain committed to transforming and improving Madrid’s public spaces.
Azvi is currently involved in several urban redevelopment projects across the city centre, in emblematic locations such as calle de Alcalá between Plaza de Cibeles and Plaza de la Independencia (Paisaje de la Luz), as well as Plaza de Jacinto Benavente and Plaza del Rastrillo.
