In recognition of the European Week for Safety and Health at Work, Grupo Azvi reaffirms its commitment to occupational risk prevention through a series of tips on the importance of safe and healthy work practices.
- Always use personal protective equipment (PPE).
The use of personal protective equipment, such as helmets, boots, gloves, goggles and vests , is vital to prevent accidents and safeguard the wellbeing of each of our workers, contributing to our goal of zero tolerance for unsafe actions. Proper PPE use not only guarantees personal safety, but also promotes a safer working environment for everyone.

2. Maintain a clean and tidy work area and make use of signage.
A clean and well-organised working environment not only facilitates daily activities, but also considerably reduces the risk of accidents. Proper signage on construction sites is essential to protect employees and visitors, ensuring a controlled environment and avoiding potential hazards.
3. Apply the knowledge gained in your daily work.
Health and Safety training is key for Grupo Azvi, as applying the knowledge obtained in training is fundamental to protect professionals and colleagues.
At Grupo Azvi we have a comprehensive training programme that includes courses, sessions, workshops, as well as our own practical manuals, to train our professionals in Health and Safety and increase awareness of possible risks.
Our prevention service is approved by the Construction Labour Foundation to provide training activities in occupational risk prevention in line with the sector’s agreement, which allows us to share our experience in this area.

4. Conduct regular assessments to identify possible risks.
Scheduled reviews are essential for two reasons: to verify the working conditions in all our workplaces and, at the same time, to play an active role in Health and Safety leadership and commitment.
These assessments allow us to anticipate risks and take timely preventive action, demonstrating our dedication to employee safety.
5. Report any unsafe situation.
Our consultation and participation channels are available for workers to report any unsafe situation, fostering a culture of open and effective communication. Every voice counts and every report is an opportunity to improve and prevent risks.
At Grupo Azvi, prevention is everyone’s job.
