Azvi and Ispalvia continue making progress on the construction of the new Renfe Maintenance Base in Aranjuez, a modern, digitalized facility that will improve railway maintenance capabilities and operational efficiency.
This week we welcomed Renfe CEO, Luis Manuel Suárez, who was accompanied by Azvi’s Director of Railway Works, César Domínguez, Azvi’s Director of Industrial Works, Andrés Vázquez, the Manager of the Azvi-Ispalvia joint venture, Omar Santiago, and Ispalvia’s Production Manager, José Manuel Vega.
Works currently underway include:
- Assembly of the metal structure.
- Execution of the track drainage network.
- Supply of sleepers and rails for track installation.
- Ground reinforcement with piles to ensure safety during underground drilling and earthworks.
- Excavations and soil stabilization for the formation layer.
- Preparation of the base for future railway facilities and services.
