Azvi has begun concrete works on the slab track for the Granada Metro. This major milestone marks the start of railway superstructure works along the 2 km section between Churriana de La Vega and Las Gabias.
Today’s event was attended by the Minister of Public Works for the Regional Government of Andalusia, Rocío Díaz, who was able to see the progress firsthand.
This project includes the construction of 1.5 km of double track and 500 m of single track, three new stations- La Gloria, Los Chopos, and Las Gabias – as well as a multimodal transport hub and a park-and-ride facility.
