Today we have officially broken ground on the Córdoba North Ring Road, marking the start of this key project that will improve mobility and quality of life in the city.
The €30 million contract, awarded by the Regional Government of Andalusia to the Azvi–Acsa joint venture, has a completion period of 36 months.
The new infrastructure will connect the north of the city between the Académica García Moreno and Santa Beatriz roundabouts, reducing urban traffic congestion and promoting smoother, safer and more sustainable mobility.
This institutional event was attended by the Regional Minister for Development, Territorial Coordination and Housing, Rocío Díaz, the Deputy Regional Minister for Development, Mario Muñoz-Atanet, the Mayor of Córdoba, José María Bellido, and the Director of Works, Esteban Ayuca. Representing Azvi were the CEO, José María Martínez Benavente, the Director of Strategy, Juan Jesús García de Pablo, the Director of Civil Works, Carlos Puebla, and the Southern Delegate of the Civil Works Department, Tomás Jodra, as well as other representatives of the joint venture.
