Just a few days after announcing the successful completion of the Tren Maya machinery team’s training in Seville, we are pleased to share that the heavy railway machinery required to carry out this major project has now arrived in Mexico.
Specifically, Construcciones Urales, in consortium with Grupo Indi, is responsible for the construction of Section 3 of the Tren Maya route — 172 kilometers between Calkiní and Izamal, in the southeast of the country.
The arrival of the machinery at the Chocholá site marks an important step forward in the project’s execution, as shown in this video.
