Grupo Azvi was joined by the Minister of Public Works, Jessica López Saffie, and the Mayor of Coyhaique, Carlos Patricio Gatica Villegas, among other authorities as well as the construction team and representatives of Cointer and Urales Chile to celebrate the laying of the foundation stone of the new Balmaceda airport terminal in Chile.
This is the first concession project in the Aysén region, designed to improve connectivity and promote economic and social development in the area.

The new terminal will have:
- An area of 12,400 m2.
- 5 passenger boarding bridges.
- 16 counters.
- 2 new baggage claim belts.
- A new aircraft movement area.
- A parking block.
- Possibility for conversion into an international airport.
