Last Friday 15th December was a historic moment for the Mexican railways: the successful commissioning of the Mayan Train between Campeche and Cancun, in the presence of the Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
Built by Construcciones Urales, Azvi’s Mexican subsidiary, together with Grupo Indi, Section 3 forms part of this line and connects Calkiní and Izamal along 161 km of track.
A milestone that would not have been possible without the commitment, effort and dedication of our teams, of all the people who make up the Azvindi consortium, who have made this emblematic and ambitious project a reality.
