The transformation of Chamartín station is nearing completion, with several new actions and milestones achieved:
– Service has been restored on fifteen trains per day to the North and Levante region with the opening of the high-speed track 19B.
– The connection of the new high-speed tracks (22 to 25), the extension of the vestibule above them and the installation of escalators and fingers connecting the station to the platforms are 95% complete.
– Work has started on the new high-speed underpass and on Car Park 3, as well as on improvements to the waterproofing and finishes in the station’s commercial area.
Thanks to the efforts and commitment of Azvi’s team, significant progress continues to be made on the major expansion of Chamartín.
