One of the projects currently being carried out by Azvi is the renewal of track and catenary on the Silla–Pobla Llarga section, part of the C2 commuter line in the Valencian Community. The aim is to improve the reliability of the infrastructure, increase its durability, and reduce incidents as well as travel times.
The works are being carried out at night to avoid affecting the daily Commuter, Medium and Long Distance, and Freight services that operate on this line. The daily output reaches 540 meters of double track (1,080 meters of rail) and 900 sleepers per night.
The section, on which Azvi is working together with Comsa, has a length of 33 kilometers and an investment of 27 million euros.
