Altus, our U.S. subsidiary, is carrying out its first project in Texas with its own equipment: the replacement of a bridge and its approach roads on Federal Route US-62 (Childress County).
- The foundations of the seven-span, 162.17metre-long bridge, were executed using piles.
- On the approaches, 170 m of asphalt paving were completed, exceeding the client’s quality standards and meeting the deadlines despite the tight execution schedule.
All this was achieved while overcoming a significant logistical challenge: the asphalt plant was two hours from the site, leaving very little workable time for the mix (1,050 t of D-GR HMA TY-D SAC-A PG70-28).
Thanks to careful planning and coordination, the construction team successfully carried out the works, demonstrating Altus’s effort, commitment, and technical expertise.
