Construcciones Urales continues to make progress on the Mexico–Toluca Intercity Train, one of Mexico’s most important railway projects.
Our subsidiary in Mexico is installing track on the El Manantial viaduct. This is a highly significant project involving a curved cable-stayed bridge with a slope and a maximum height of 42 m.
Main works:
- Installation of 1,200 m of track
- Assembly of 289 tonnes of UIC60 rails
- Installation of over 4,000 elastic fastenings
This is a key phase that requires extensive logistical planning and technical expertise. Precision is paramount, as the structure is continuously affected by the wind, vibrations and temperature variations.
