Here’s how Azvi completed the connection of the Salamanca Intermodal Railway Platform to the ADIF Salamanca-Fuentes de Oñoro line.
This infrastructure has a six-track rail yard capable of accommodating trains up to 750m long, facilitating the transport of approximately 700,000 tonnes of freight per year. Furthermore, the Salamanca Dry Port is set to drive economic and sustainable development for the region, with direct access to the A-62 and A-66 motorways and the future electrification of the railway line.
We are now entering the final phase of the works with the verification of the rail welds and the completion of catenary installation and the perimeter fencing.
