Construcciones Urales and Grupo Indi have begun the positioning and installation of the beams for the first and most impressive of the three railway viaducts that will be built along Section 3, which will allow key existing transport infrastructures to be crossed, such as, in this case, Federal Highway 180.
The first viaduct measures 128 meters in length with 4 spans of 32 meters each. The next two viaducts each have a single 32-meter span.
In addition, along the entire route, different structures will be installed to overcome the karst formations of the terrain:
- Karst zone structures 1, 2, and 3: 1 span of 28 m
- Karst zone structure 4: 1 span of 24 m
For the lifting, positioning, and placement of the first beam of this first viaduct, two truck-mounted cranes of 500 and 350 tons respectively were used.
