We are approaching the final stage of the comprehensive renovation works carried out by Azvi for Adif along 77 km of the Zafra-Huelva railway line, specifically in the Calañas-Peguerillas and PK 96-Calañas sections.
Main works undertaken:
- Renewal of the track superstructure: ballast removal and replacement, plus installation of new track (rails and sleepers).
- Widening of decks on five viaducts.
- Works on the internal tunnel walls.
- Transverse and longitudinal drainage works.
- Trench reinforcement and stabilisation works.
This project significantly enhances the safety, reliability, and performance of the line. Thanks to this, travel times are optimized, and more efficient mobility between the municipalities in the area is promoted.
We continue working towards a more modern, safer, and better-connected railway infrastructure!
